When can I expect my goods?
Most of HIKING BUDDIES UK apparel is made to order so please allow up to 7 days before items are dispatched, this is due to stock availabilty and lead times from our garment suppliers. We will notify you when your order has been dispatcehd or in the event that your item cant be obtained due to excessive lead times.
Do you offer giftcards?
We currently do not offer gift cards however we will have sales so keep your eyes peeled! We do offer competitions such as raffles and give aways, to take part simply go across the the Facebook group and become a member today!
What is your return policy?
Please read our 'Privacy & T&Cs' to view our returns policy. This can be accessed at the bottom of the 'Home' page via the button that reads 'Privacy & T&Cs' or live chat with us via the 'Lets Chat!' function which is available on all pages of the site, mobile site and mobile app. We aim to respond to all messages as soon as possible.

Does HBUK have Insurance?
Yes, we are pleased to confirm that HBUK is covered by insurance through Markel Direct. This insurance policy includes both public and employers' liability coverage. We prioritise the safety and well-being of our members and employees, and having such insurance in place allows us to operate with confidence and assurance.
Why do you cap your events?
As part of our commitment to safety and responsible hiking, we implement event attendance caps to ensure the well-being of our members and event leaders. Additionally, we limit the number of participants to mitigate the impact on the countryside and trails, promoting a sustainable and considerate approach to outdoor recreation. By doing so, we aim to minimise disruption to fellow hikers, preserve the tranquility of the natural surroundings, and foster a positive experience for everyone involved in our events.
Why do you only advertise your events on the Facebook group?
"In order to maintain control over event attendance and prioritize the safety and awareness of all participants, we have a policy against cross-event posting. This measure allows us to effectively manage the number of attendees at each event and ensures that all participants are well-informed about those sharing the experience. By adhering to this policy, we aim to create a secure and organized environment for our members, fostering a sense of community and enhancing the overall quality of our events.

What do i do if i have a complaint?
At HBUK we value the well-being of our community and want to ensure everyone has a positive experience. If you have a complaint or concern, please follow these steps for resolution:

Do you offer discounts and rewards?

Are you ATOL protected?
HBUK does not engage in flight-related services. As such, we are not required to be ATOL protected. Our trips are fully insured under the 3rd party organiser we use for each trip and we want to assure our valued customers that your experiences with us remain a top priority.
